Przemyslaw Kapitula
Przemyslaw Kapitula was born in 1965 in Warsaw. He studied organ at the Chopin Academy with Josef Serafin and attended interpretation courses with N. Danby, D. Roth, M. Ślechta and Z. Szathmáry. He gives nearly 60 concerts each year.
Director since 1991 of the Warsaw Sacred Music Festival Foundation, he organizes no fewer than 150 concerts every year, attended by nearly 20,000 listeners. He initiated the construction of several organs in Poland, as well as various musical projects. His preferred repertoire is that of the Romantic period, and he strives to promote the Polish organ repertoire.
He has recorded for radio and television as well as for disc. Finally, he directs several organ academies in Italy.
